The conclusion is much thinner, despite its interminable length. But that's not the main problem. Essentially, everyone gets everything they want, even if their desires necessitate an about-face in characterization or the messy introduction of some back story. Nobody has to renounce anything or suffer more than temporarily-in other words, grandeur is out.

I think I may have to start denying I've ever read the Twilight saga

I wish Stephenie Meyer had ended with Twilight or at least an extended version of New Moon. I think I’ll be hauling my copies of the last three to the local library as a donation and trying to just enjoy Twilight for what it was before the rest of this mess came into play. I think I may have to start denying I've ever read the Twilight saga.

Twilight tempted the imagination... New Moon made readers thirsty for more... Eclipse turned the saga into a worldwide phenomenon... And now the book that everyone has been waiting for... Breaking Dawn. In the much anticipated fourth book in Stephenie Meyer's love story, questions will be answered and the fate of Bella and Edward will be revealed.

First off, all the spoilers, if you think about it...she knew what she was writing and she left many different loop holes while answering questions so that you can not sit there and say "She lied to us! She said it was impossible!"

Many people have said it seems like a glorified fanfic but isn't that what every writer is? They love their story lines and plot twists that they make it how they want it to be? I honestly did read some of the spoilers and thought "what?!?!" However, after reviewing those chapters and then reading the book, it really is a good story if you let your guard down. Many of you have these plot lines you WANT in the book but that isn't how SM planned it. I liked how the characters continued to develop and grow and how it shows that the bonds of friendship and family know no bounds and that justice will prevail in the proof of innocence.

If you do not want to have plot twists, impossible occurring (hello...this is written about vampires and werewolves and you yell about something else being impossible?) then don't read it. However, if you enjoy such things and character development and love conquering all...then I highly recommend this book

I really enjoyed this series. In fact I went back and purchased the audio editions. The books FAR outshine the movies and the audio were very enjoyable. I found I didn't like Jacob even a little bit until the last book. I thought him petty, manipulative and had he been a real person wouldn't have been someone I would want around. The movies fell far short but part of that was the actress who portrayed Bella. I found her stiff and jerky and unpleasing. Bella in the book was much easier to like.

The finale of the Twilight Saga.

Now a high school graduate, Bella is preparing to marry her sweetheart Edward Cullen and become a vampire--both because it's what she wants and to satisfy the demands of the royal Volutri (vampire leaders) since she knows of the existence of vampires. But it's a wedding that she also dreads: being the center of attention, with invitations she didn't choose and wouldn't have willingly chosen (one of which was sent to werewolf Jacob Black, and which prompted him to run away), with sky-high heals that might result in broken bones, and fancy wedding dress. But it is a price Bella is willing to pay to get her eternal life--and a real honeymoon before her change. That honeymoon results in the seemingly impossible consequence (for a vampire) of pregnancy and rapidly threatens Bella's life as the pregnancy advances with incredible speed. Yet not even then can Jacob sever whatever tie connects him and Bella. Ultimately, Bella seems to have her cake and eat it too (even though vampires don't eat), and poor Jacob get shafted yet again.

Hopefully Edward and Bella can use their eternity of marriage to fix their issues. Communication is a big problem for them. Edward constantly thinks he knows better than Bella what is best for her. She does seem a little more aware of that than in the past, and has a plan in place to checkmate one of Edward's plans (by involving Rosalie). But Bella isn't much better than Edward in this sense. She isn't willing to see his side of the situation at all or to recognize that her plan might not work out. And after a brief explosion at learning why she and Jacob have always been so connected, Bella's just happy as a fish in the ocean that she'll always have him in her life, even though it involves Jacob being permanently separated from his own life and past. Wonder if years from now this will end up being a regret of Meyer's, much like the Ron/Hermione pairing ended up as one of JK Rowling's regrets.

I read this series a long time ago and I was reading it again for the 2nd time. I was ready to read the whole entirety of the book. To my dismay when I opened the file on kindle it said it was only 294 pages. I remember the book being massive and full of a lot of things. Upon further investigation, this kindle version has ONLY the Bella sections and according to a quick search the actual book is over 700 pages. Where can I find a kindle version of the complete book? and if that does not exist, how can I get my money back?
