I have been searching for an animal encyclopedia and when I saw this I thought it was exactly what I was looking for. It covers the surface of animals, but it was not nearly as in depth as I was expecting.
This book is basically a summary of David Burnie's "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Animals". If you're looking for a one-stop, everything-you-need book that covers it all, check out the "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Animals" by David Burnie. Unfortunately you can only get this from the UK, try Amazon.co.uk. It's so worth it.
