The Armageddon Conspiracy. Published by Hyperreality Books at Smashwords.

The Armageddon Conspiracy is one of the best books I have ever read. I recommend it to everyone, it is enthralling and challenging. It explores just about every religion known to man (with a fiction base) and has been written as an almost factual record of how the different organisations operate, again it is fiction but draws on so many interpretations that most of us are aware of.

The Armageddon Conspiracy reveals the answer to this greatest Biblical mystery. The Temple of Solomon was not the house of God at all but a special chamber designed to contain a unique weapon, for which Solomon had the most astounding purpose in mind. Solomon, a man obsessed with witchcraft and magic, believed he had found the key to the supreme mystery of life, but he died before he could complete his mission.

Wow I enjoyed this book. Another reviewer compared it to Dan Brown novels and I sort of agree. All the pieces are here: religious conspiracies, relic hunting, a properly lovable heroine, a love interest that holds its tension through most of the book, and waiting with bated breath to learn how humanity will get on - will we live or die?

I started questioning my own religion and my own knowledge and the gaps in my knowledge. I like that. I like something that makes me really think about what I believe. What seems right to me based on the information available?

Every book, relic, historical figure, etc was something I was able to find more information about on the web. I found some of that information particularly resonant for my own faith research. For that I am grateful.

Why not 5 stars? Like the other Hockney books (his are not alone in this problem) they are amateurishly published, there are some grammatical problems that caused me to need to slow down to figure out what the author actually meant. I don't mind a spelling problem here and there, but I find it annoying to have to stop and re-read a few times to figure out how to place a phrase or sentence back together with the right word. It didn't ruin the story at all, but I found it irritating at times.

On the Armegeddon Conspiracy site this book is mentioned as one of three coded works that expose deep truths about the Illuminati and their plans. While that sounded a bit like a plot to get me to buy and read the books (always up for a challenge/mystery) I went ahead and bought the first book, The Millionaires Death Club. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by not only the overall story and the fact that it kept my interest, but also at the obvious depth of knowledge around a variety of subjects that make the characters and story believable. When writing about people who (by all normal standards) would be considered the elite, I would need to be convinced that those characters do in fact have the educational and cultural foundations which prove their status in order to appear real to me. The writer does convince me of this, although admittedly I'm more "Sophie" than "Zara" - and wouldn't really know differently, having never been part of the elite. However, this work does just that... It makes the reader feel as if they are taken in to a strange, weird world of the upper crust at their esoteric worst. How much truth there is in this fiction is anyone's guess... But I will be reading the other two books now, for sure. Maybe with any luck I will come away with a better understanding of everything. If not, the stories are still entertaining, I am certain!

I became interested in this book because of its connection with the illuminati. I ended up taking a couple of personal life lessons from it. Overall it was riveting. It genuinely drew a variety of emotion out of me! On exciting parts, I felt excited. On funny parts, I laughed out loud. On scary parts, I was afraid. On sad parts I felt like crying; or I got jealous; or angry. I felt like the book was controlling my emotions! It was eerie to read because not only did it affect me so deeply; I knew that it is based on some truths in the world we live in; in an actual secret society. In places there was too much detail on frivolous things and not enough on the important things. Some big events are told in retrospect and that was pretty irritating. Some characters were not developed as fully as they could have been. The MANY references led me to a lot of "googling" while I read (not necessarily a bad thing). The ending confused me, I felt like the ends could have been tied tighter, but like any good mystery, it had to end with a little left behind. A quick read, but one you will never forget! P.S. Mike Hockney is a pseudonym and I am most certain this was written by a woman. No man knows fashion THAT well, nor the emotions of a woman when it comes to loving a man. The ending was also a very feminine way to end a story, especially one as dark as this.
grand star
This book is the End of the world conspiracy to end all conspiracies! If there is one thing that I learned from reading the other books written by Mike Hockney is that the true story is "written" below the surface. This book was meant for people who like to think and enjoy the ride. Everything I learned in history class at school is now in question and whether or not this book uses true historical events, the underlying message will shock you, while the surface will fill you with suspense and keep you reading so you can find out how it all comes together. If you have ever been curious about the holy grail, or the Illuminati and want a glimpse of the knowledge they possess, this book will get your heart beating and will surely put you on the edge of you seat.

I thought I would read only 25% today, but went all the way.
Most amazing read.
What I thought about was the author. The great mind one must have to write like he did in this book.

The best part,in my experience, was the scene in the bunker, when everything was happening all at once.

It might have been the fruit and vegetable cold pressed juice I was drinking, but then again I always drink that, but I felt an almost at will energy moving up my neck to the top of my head. To say the least, it felt great.
