Grant Lewi was the designer and author. The book published 1930’s and the one republished in the 1970’s is better, but out of print. The updated book to 2016 is better, the 1970’s book only goes until 1999. His descriptions are spot on, still, but statements are outdated in description. I wish Llewellyn press would placed it on a Computer program. Refer to page 10 of "Book one: How to Cast a Horoscope" in book one of the Astrology Kit. Your horoscope will be judged on the position of the sun and the moon at the time of your birth. From there, you fill in all the conjuctions and aspects of the other planets for additional readings.

William Grant Lewi II (June 8, 1902 – July 14, 1951) was an American astrologer and author. Best known for his books Astrology for the Millions and Heaven Knows What, Lewi has been described as the father of modern astrology in America. Lewi was born in Albany, New York. He attended Hamilton College and graduated from Columbia University. He taught English at Dartmouth College, the University of North Dakota, and at the University of Delaware.
