People of God is a description in the Old Testament or Hebrew Bible that applies to the Israelites and that in the New Testament applies to Christians. Within the Catholic Church, it has been given greater prominence because of its employment in documents of the Second Vatican Council (1962–1965). In the Old Testament, the Israelites are referred to as "the people of God" in Judges 20:2 and 2 Samuel 14:13.

God does not reject a people. He is always faithful to Israel, his prized possession. The promises of God to the people of Israel are fulfilled in the Church. But anyone who does not exhibit faith in Christ is not part of true Israel and none of the promises to Abraham apply to them. Jesus and the Church is the supreme proof of God’s faithfulness to Israel, they are the substantiation of all of Israel’s promises, even if many with Abraham’s blood do not accept it. Paul is unequivocal, if you belong to Christ you, dear brothers and sisters, are children of the promise, just like Isaac. There is no division between material and spiritual promises, as Darby posits.
When people think of God, they see yo. What do you hope people get from the Story of God? We live in a time where people see differences. Only on one occasion, at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
When people think of God, they see you. Really? So when George Burns played God . We’re trying to show them the commonalities. In Jerusalem? Yes, we were kicked out. Because of the cameras? No because I have a big mouth. Because I used an unallowable word, which we didn’t realize was unallowable. We were in one of the tombs near where the crucifixion took place. So I used the term myth, and we were asked to leave post-haste.

Even if we disbelieve every story, we are impressed by Bede’s conception of the historian as one who seeks out eye witnesses, who listens, who writes it down. Anyway, even our sceptical age is alive with urban myths, and still suffers from the profound irrationality and credulousness of human beings. Or that the people who claim to have experienced a miracle, simply have a need to appear important, or are propagandising for their faith, or are naive and credulous? It will always be the latter. An entirely rational assessment will always militate against miracles.
How can we identify them among the peoples of the world today? .
How can we identify them among the peoples of the world today? And why is this knowledge so important to us? . God’s promise to Abraham was not limited to a small and ancient people in the Middle East. It extends far into the future, and it is not limited by national boundaries. God designed this promise to bring blessings to all nations. American King James Version ).
