The Occult Significance of Forgiveness. by Sergei O. Prokofieff shows how, in our personal and moral lives, the forces that lead to forgiveness can be consciously and freely developed. Rather than moralizing, he presents spiritual facts that speak for themselves. From Czarist Russia to the concentration camps of Nazi Germany, the author gives striking examples of people who have been able to forgive terrible crimes. A survey of recent history reveals a gloomy picture: an ongoing series of conflicts, wars and general turmoil. As a result of all this, the human emotional landscape has become littered with angry, bitter and vengeful feelings. The modern justice system, preoccupied as it is with finding and proving guilt, does little to remedy this tragic situation. However, many individuals and groups are seeking ways to break the never-ending cycle of recrimination

I really liked this book and found the concepts given (from Steiner of course) about the occult/spiritual background on "forgiveness" to be inspiring. It is embedded in Anthroposophy, so don't expect anything else; and if you know nothing of Anthroposophy, it may be a little steep to climb onto.
Redfury
An absolute gem. Thank you, Sergei. And thank you, Rudolf. God bless.

This book is not for everyone, it is very wordy and heady, highly esoteric. Yet the material is extremely deep, profound and relevant.
Delagamand
As everything written by Prokofieff, this book really brings together a lot of material and makes it more clear.

I found this book by Serfei O. Prokofieff very readable and inspiring. It shows how important it is for people to develop the capacity for forgiveness, not only for the person who is forgiven, but very important for the person who forgives. He shows how a true act of forgiveness has wide influence currently and well into the future.

Although some parts of the book are understandable only for those more close to Antroposofy, Prokofieff brings light to a theme extremely relevant for our times. And maybe the only solution for this difficult times.
