Like a fish I was floundering in the online bookselling business. I was putting my preferences over good business sense. Michael harnessed my enthusiasm and put me on the road to profitability. Michael goes over every aspect of the business in a clear concise manner. All you have to do is read and learn. He also includes bookkeeping charts.

If you are new like me, I had no idea (or I thought I knew) what books to buy. Yup, Michael covers that. Furthermore, I now know how to write an accurate description and what the meaning of "foxing" is. Michael includes many fine examples so you know what to look for or what not to look for in a book. And what about that 123456789 how can you ever tell if it's first edition if its not stated. Just look it up on the CD. I keep mine right by my computer. ONLINE BOOKSELLING is an excellent investment in which you will get a generous return.

I am looking to get started in the bookselling business on Amazon in the near future. I purchased this online book because of the great reviews. I agree 100% with everyone who has written previous reviews. It explains almost everything I wanted to know and if there was other questions I had(and still do have) I have gotten a quick response from the author when I contacted him. I believe that with the information in this book I will have no trouble starting up my own business.

After reading this book and another recently (2006) published book on selling books online, I highly recommend this one for several reasons. Because this book is a cd, Mike was able to include extremely helpful pictures which were absent in the other book I read. Notably, clear color pictures depicting various defects in used books; like foxing, cracked, chipped and several other types of defects were illustrated, which were most helpful to me as a novice. In addition, he includes useful charts for analyzing your own business model. As a now part-time CPA, I really enjoyed having someone provide me with concise data which he had accumulated over years of working with excel sheets. Most authors give you only basic information such as average sale prices, average book costs and postage expenses. I'm sure you want to know what you can expect as your bottom line before you jump into something new.

Finally, with the first book I read I found myself jumping up to go to my computer to check out a dot com vendor that they recommended. In this book, Mike lets you just click on a link (and there are many) and voila -- you're there. Other interactive aspects of this cd allows you to navigate the book with ease using both the table of contents and the index.

And the icing on the cake, if you have any questions, Mike answers them by e-mail astonishingly fast. Now if only I could get my plumber to do that life would be a bowl of cherries!

As a former Library Specialist with some working knowledge of books and book-related affairs, this author is not only extremely intelligent, but he breaks down information for the average person so well that another book on the same subject would more than likely pale in comparison. As most individuals are skeptical of any business venture, he provides you with valid statistical data from his five years of online bookselling experience to back up his ideas, and speaks candidly throughout his book, non-stereotypical of any salesman. I had some frame of reference and was able to connect events from the past that I didn't understand previously, so that alone made him much more believable. This is a purchase with a high return if you're interested in starting an online bookselling business.

This is the sixth book covering online bookselling that I have read and by far the most comprehensive. The 209 pages of information stuffed into the CD-ROM was filled with information and topics on every facit of the business. Michael E. Mould explains in extreme detail who to sell through, what books to look for, where to find books, how to arrange your business, prepare books, software to track your inventory plus much more.

With this book any person could generate additional monthly income proportional to the number of books in your inventory, for example, if 3000 books are listed for sale online, then expect sales of approximately $1 per book listed for sale or $3000 per month. This sales approximation is realistic and having an inventory of 3000 books is a small investment in time each week searching for books at the local Salvaiton Army or Thrift store. Most folks I contacted online had an inventory of 10000 or more books and still held down a day job. Mould must be some kind of Engineer or Rocket Scientist as this book is brilliant at simplifying the business into something an average person can understand and do. Thank You Mike Mould:)

I contact Michael Mould about his book and he was very helpful in answering questions before I purchased. After receiving the CD-Rom (which he signed for me, thanks Michael, I will auction it 1st ed autographed...just kidding) I read through it and put many of the principles into play. I have since built an inventory about 300 books (been at this 3 weeks now) and intend to grow this to about 2,000 or so. I have seen significant profits on some books which I bought for $1 and sold for $50. Bottom line, is that this manual provided by Michael is real, authentic, time tested, and practical. Most of all it works. You will not waste your money on this if you are serious about your book online book business. Thanks for sharing Michael, our family is having a lot of fun with this.

IN A NUTSHELL, EVERYTHING IS HERE FOR YOU IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING LEARNING ABOUT BECOMING AN ONLINE BOOKSELLER. WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK OF STUDYING THE INFORMATION THAT MICHAEL HAS SO EFFECTIVELY PUT TOGETHER, I FOUND BOOKS AT BOOK SALES, LIBRARIES AND EVEN GARAGE SALES FOR ANYWHERE FROM $0.25 TO NO MORE THAN A DOLLAR EACH. ALL OF THESE BOOKS CAN BE RESOLD FOR $25.00 OR MORE EACH, MY BEST FIND SO FAR BEING A BOOK PURCHASED FOR $0.25 THAT CAN BE RESOLD FOR $85.00. I AM THRILLED THAT I CAME ACROSS MICHAEL'S AD FOR THIS BOOK AND PURCHASED IT; IT IS WORTH MANY TIMES OVER THE SMALL INVESTMENT FOR SUCH PRECISE AND USABLE INFORMATION. THANK YOU SO MUCH MICHAEL MOULD FOR YOUR EXCELLENT BOOK!
