As a lecturer who teaches Graduate level courses for Single Subject Research Methodology, I was excited when I first learned that this book was being published. I and my collegue have used it's predecessor that was published by Tawney and Gast in 1984. Although the newer text is thoughtfully written and accurate, I find it is not as user friendly for Educators as the previous edition. I will continue to use the 1984 edition as it presents information more clearly.

This is the book you need if you are learning how to conduct Single Subject Research design. Do not recommend the 3rd party study guide, unless your course is going to rely on multiple choice and fill in the blank testing.

This text was assigned for my SSRD course at the graduate level and has not disappointed. From it's reader-friendly organization to it's excellent applied examples, I will be sure to keep this in my personal collection for years to come and reference for my future academic endeavors. This newer edition added many much needed upgrades to the 1984 SSRD text published by Tawney and Gast.
