I have been involved in the field of Law Enforcement for over 15 years as well as being part of the field of academia for over 6 years and it never ceases to make me chuckle when it comes to dealing with text book purchases. Amazon makes this easier due to their abundant stock as well as selection. Managing Police Operations by Phyllis McDonals is an exceptional book and well worth the price (Check out the price with other vendors)! It has been an invaluable tool for my studies as well as my professional use. I strongly urge the purchase of this text for your personal library.
Sincerely, Chief R. E. Rice, Piedmont Police Department, Piedmont, WV
