I am enrolled on an online class, in which the assignments are the in book end of chapter review questions. The end of review fill in the blank questions are out of order from the reading material, very specific, and often not even written in the book. Honestly it takes away from my learning and I would strongly advise anyone to contact their instructor beforehand and make sure that the assignments are not these questions. Also, if you are an instructor, please order a review copy of this book and ATTEMPT THE QUESTIONS YOURSELF, put aside the answer guide and then try to get all of these questions right. Chapter 4, question 11 is the perfect example. These mistakes are repeated all throughout the book it appears, and honestly, I think I could do a better job myself. I have no issue with the actual material of this book, which is slightly more in depth than what I believe it should be for an intro to criminalistics class, but it is fine. I can not recommend this book to anyone because of the errors present in the questions, which leads me to believe that there may be errors elsewhere that are giving me false information. I have truly been victimized in my educational experience because of this book, and I will undoubtedly have to learn outside of class if I am to gain any understanding of criminalistics.

These and the newer one has EXACT same material 99.8% word for words. This should be perfect for class that requires othet uooer editions. Only difference is the reviews at the end of each chapter. They are slightly modified on newer edition but as material wise they are pretty much same book as new edition except at 10% of the newer edition price.

Book was cheaper than bookstore obviously this is the reason I bought it. Did not like the fact that it had highlighting in it because it can get annoying and distracting. but for the price I dont really mind. Fast shipping too!

Great literature

There's nothing uber special about the textbook, it's a typical textbook, but it does have great pictures and was clearly written.

The class rocked, too!

Book was in PERFECT condition and came quickly...really satisfied. I have nothing more to say about it the first sentence speaks for itself just trying to fit in enough characters to post.
when I received the book it was in very bad shape. it had a lot of water damage but I couldn't return it because I needed it for class!
