Since reading this book I have resourced several articles by Tom and find a standard theme- golf clubs should fit the player. Obviously, the BIG manufacturers want economy of scale and to churn out clubs by the hundreds. Then YOU have to experiment to find one that fits. Since reading his book I have been to a custom club maker and guess what? I didn't pay anymore than in a pro shop or even a discount chain. Yes I know that several now have nets with computer simulators- but it's a poor second to discussing your game with an expert as opposed to a salesman.

This book is the case for getting custom made clubs. He does convince me that he's right but I'm not sure you need a whole book for that.
