This book was a throwback to 7th grade.
This book was a throwback to 7th grade. Pictures decorate almost every page, the layout spoon feeds you EVERYTHING and to top it off, this book and 'Social Problems' are basically carbon copies. Not impressed with how Macionis 'wrote' two different books with basically the same info. Yes, it was easy to read and follow, but in terms of worth, the information did not go below the surface often and leaves the reader utilizing other sources.
John Macionis' publications are wide-ranging, focusing on community life in the United States, interpersonal intimacy in families, effective teaching, humor, new information technology, and the importance of global education.
