This makes it harder to look up information. Personally, I prefer a topical organisation (. verbs, nouns, adjectives). Sadly I have no good alternative to recommend due to the fact that most books have an alphabetical organisation, which I detest. Having said this, A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar is by far the best book I've found.
