I. Enz, Charles P. (Charles. Wolfgang Pauli wrote a highly sophisticated and beautiful German. P38 1994 530 . 1-dc20 94-15098. This very fact is at the origin of the delay of almost 37 years since Pauli signed a contract on 15 July 1957 to publish the translation by Robert Schlapp cont ained in the present volume. Anybody who has tried to translate Pauli's German into English must have experienced the dilemma ofthe choice between accurately reproducing Pauli's ideas and rendering the flavour of his particular style.

Wolfgang Ernst Pauli (/ˈpɔːli/; German: ; 25 April 1900 – 15 December 1958) was an Austrian-born Swiss and American theoretical physicist and one of the pioneers of quantum physics. In 1945, after having been nominated by Albert Einstein, Pauli received the Nobel Prize in Physics for his "decisive contribution through his discovery of a new law of Nature, the exclusion principle or Pauli principle"

This is a great book. Pauli was one of the greatest physicists of the 20th century, spent a lot of time with both Einstein and Bohr, and it shows. His discussions of quantum mechanics and complementarity are a vast improvement over pretty much everything that has been written since then.

This book is a wonderfully interesting series of philosophical writings by one of the foremost quantum physicists. Wolfgang Pauli, one of the originators of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum physics, provides incredibly interesting, if sometimes overly pedantic, philosophical perspectives on a number of issues. One of the more marginalized selections is concerning archetypes and reveals the strong connections that Pauli had with one of the foremost thinkers in the field of psychology: Carl Jung. I highly recommend this book for those interested in gaining greater perspective in the depth of thought that was involved in the development of perhaps the most original and groundbreaking theories of physics.

Wolfgang Pauli is a very interesting writer and physicist, however the publisher is an absolute crook to sell this work, in e-book form for 79.00 USD.
