I needed a later edition for this book, but decided to save some money and get this one. I made a good choice because we haven't really even used the book in my class. Even if I don't use it for my class, this book is filled with a lot of great information regarding teaching students with special needs. I will probably refer back to it in the future when I have my own class.

This title has been updated and reissued (Boston: Allyn Bacon. 2000.) It is the primary required text for a mainstreaming class at Cal State Fullerton, a course required by the State of California for new teachers to "clear" their credentials. It provides a comprehensive introduction to legal and educational issues in the area of special education.
