I'm about half way through this excellent book. I bought this because I really am getting focused on writing Case Studies, and Casey Hibbard's book is exactly what I was looking for. Emotional stories grab your attention, and allow you to say "Yes, that's what I needed to know about that product."

I have been interested in learning about how to tell Stories as a copywriter, and Stories That Sell is definitely a wonderful asset to have.

Excellent content, well written. HOWEVER the Kindle version on a Windows 7 notebook is a measly version of the printed one.

Instead of decent graphical layout, with boxes etc, you see a sea of unbroken text, all of it black, with virtually no graphical elements at all. Actually, the remnants of graphical layout remain, as an eye sore "Boxout ========================" is something you see frequently.

Instead of a Table of Contents with links to the chapters, and page numbers, you just see a TOC with the headings, no page numbers and no links to jump straight to the chapters / sections. I ended up searching for the start of each chapter and creating a bookmark just to be able to navigate around the Kindle version.

This book is probably still the best content about writing case studies. But the Kindle version was a big disappointment. I wish I'd bought the paper version instead.

I really hope Hibbard does an updated Kindle version of this book, with good graphical layout, easy to use as a reference, similar to the Kindle version of Gordon Graham's White Papers for Dummies, which has both fantastic content and great layout. This book deserves better packaging!

While there are some good points made in this book, I have to give it a 3 star review because the formatting is terrible. For the price of this book, I expect a clickable TOC and better formatting. Without it, this book is frustrating to read. Please update it.

I always think I know everything about writing for the web, but this book is a good refresher course. I make my younger employees read it. :)

We can chase our tails seeking to setup websites and advertising to appeal to everyone. When people provide restructuring feedback they are coming from their particular paradigm well communicated by Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument styles that appeal to CEO's, COO's Organisers and HR facilitators. Neil Rackham in his Spin Selling book also covers how to deal with this. But it is all only good if you have synchronous communication. This book informs you how to deal with A Synchronous communication via well written case studies. Through case studies it is possible to appeal to all learning styles. Anyone seeking to gain sales via their website must read and act on the suggestions in this book.
I also got Hypnotic Writing which is more what I was looking to learn. The book is good, offers some good advice, e but more for the corporate business than entrepreneur.
