The Pregnancy Promise book. Known for her heartwarming, emotional stories, she excels in capturing those feelings when first falling in love.

Also, I have to throw another flag on the play as this book had an "Unexpected Pregnancy" teaser slapped on the front cover. There was nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing unexpected about this pregnancy. The truth is, this book is a wallbanger.

I loved this book, and could so relate to it. i am a mom of a set of twins and also of 11 children like the book ( our count is only slightly different from the book). my 2 daughters are as close as she is to her sister. i cant wait to read the 2nd book in the series so i can continue to follow the family. i especially recommed this book to people from other large familes because they would understand what others obviously dont.

I honestly don't know what I was expecting when I bought this book but what I got of it was definitely disappointing.
The cover was cute and the summary promised a fun story but up to about 1/3 of the story, I still couldn't feel any feelings between the two characters.

The heroine was negative about everything even though she was the one who fixed the rules, she still went to sulk when he would do as she wanted. It was rather annoying.
I could feel that the hero's feelings went deeper but he just was a bit too blank for me.

BEware the summary is misleading.
DETAILED SUMMARY: The story starts with Lianne taking a day off because she has a condition with her ovaries that causes her to have terrible pains during her period. The doctor advises her to go for a hysterectomy (removal of ovaries) to stop the pain. Lianne would give anything to get rid of it but she longs to have a baby of her own. The only problem, she has no boyfriend.

Enters Traynor Elliot (Tray) her boss who comes to take care of her. She tells him about her situation and he proposes to introduce her to one of his friend. The situation suddenly changes when Tray's uncle passes away. He has no more family and realizes that he could end up just like his uncle so he'll help her to have a baby. In exchange she'll marry him because he doesn't want her to do what his ex did to him (abort his baby to keep her slim shape).

Given that Lianne has only a short time, will they succeed in having a baby? and can they learn to love each other?

This book was ok. Unlike the previous reviewer, I didn't dislike the main characters, they were fine. But I almost stopped reading the book 60 pages in because the freakin author kept preaching to me.

Don't use my entertainment to shove your ideology in my face. Not just once, not just twice, but at least THREE times before page 65. And it was so obvious because it didn't seem to come from what these characters would normally say, instead it was just a bright, flashing light on the pages saying "GET YOUR PREACHING HERE."

Also, I have to throw another flag on the play as this book had an "Unexpected Pregnancy" teaser slapped on the front cover. There was nothing, and I mean absolutely **nothing** unexpected about this pregnancy. The truth is, this book is a wallbanger.

This was a nice quick read with believable characters. I did enjoy the biuld up to the finish. I would recommend this as a good read.

What a load of crap. Made me yawn. And the name of the book is ridiculous too. A pregnancy is not a promise. 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. Nice one Barbara, you thick cretin.
