The one thing i found pretty good was its decent language and the emphasis on family values, retaining current marraige and then a gentle romance. It's about a hi-fly construction magnate in 1950's where pressure takes its tool on him and he shouts at his wife. He leaves for scotland to have a quiet vacation where he meets a tempestous unmarried woman who's steep in scottish traditions. There blooms a delicate romance between the two. And more fun when the wife hears about it in US and comes to scotland! Boy, what a story.

Its a story about a work-weary-tensioned business magnate who seeks to escape from it all. He goes to scotland, and there meets the girl of his dreams, something more beautiful than his good-looking wife (which even he agrees to). There, he meets law unlike as in his corporation, and gets locked-up. Meanwhile, his wife, with whom, he had fought, comes flying, to RESCUE when she hears about his lock-up and the new girl. What follows, is very-very exciting, and not iam not exaggerating, finish. Unlike today's stories, david walker in his 1950's style, has us simply captivated. You may wonder what's in it so much, but I have already read it more than 15 times, and my sister reads it every week, when she is down. In an unimaginable way, it perks you up. It is very light-hearted, the language is excellent and simply superb. If you don't believe me, mail me and i will send you the book (photocopies of-course). You will NOT regret it.
