This book by Chris Ryan is just as good as all the others. The writing is detailed, but does not bog you down or pointless facts or slow your reading pace. I like Chris Ryan's writing and he held true to his nature in this book. Lots of excitement based on real life events I am sure. The detail paints vivid pictures to make you feel in the action and present in the situations, both emotionally and physically. This book has less action than I remember from other books of his I have read. Just less than the first half of the book sets the stage for the major drama of the book.

When our students noticed some pale faces and started asking questions, we pretended we’d once again been on the piss ss-artists, and we claimed to have been so smashed that we couldn’t remember the names of any of the bars we’d allegedly visited. Late as it was, the lads were far too hyped up by the success of the operation to feel sleepy.
