This poetry book for students is great. I bought it to study with my 4th grade class and there is some difficult poems in there. It really takes the students time to study these poems for their meanings. We love the challenge.

Excellent book for teachers or anyone that wants an easy to read beautifully illustrated synopsis of a poets life. I just wish there were more poets available. The poets available are excellent examples, from Walt to Maya Anjelo is a good start. These make great sources for teachers who want a weeks worth of material and background info.Would also be good gifts for a parent who wants to introduce the art of words to a child.
