Darling darling book!! I always love to have a few holiday books out on display for my children each month. We had no St. Patrick’s Day books yet so I ordered this one and I’m so glad I did. Such a great book for reading out loud. Just the perfect length! Long enough that you can really get into the story but still a picture book. Great for story time or bedtime. Reads so smooth, and fun to add an Irish accent while reading it.

Great book with a good message. I love that it's based on an Irish legend and shows a good side of Leprechauns. I like to read my kids books that illustrate positive character traits and this book does just that and is wonderful for St. Patrick's Day. A new favorite for my 2 1/2 and 5 year old.

The lyrical phrasing in this story makes it a great read aloud, The illustrations are charming and help tell the tale. I have read a lot of leprechaun stories and this is fresh and different. It contains all the elements of a memorable story and has a very satisfying ending. I have read it about a zillion times now to my three-year-old grandaughter and she still requests it. This is now an important volume in my St. Patrick's Day collection.
