I bought this for my fiance. He could not have rolled his eyes harder when I gave it to him and avoided reading it as long as possible. I was so grateful that he finally did read it, though, because it completely changed his attitude towards wedding planning after he did! The book was able to get through to him about things I tried explaining and obviously failed. It gave him some perspective on the pressures of being a bride and was much more compassionate and helpful once the book got through to him. Doug Gordon, you are great!

i bought this for my fiance. we are long distance and planning the wedding from a few countries away, so i thought that since he is a captive audience downrange i could send him any reading material i thought appropriate. i read this before i sent it to him, and i pretty much liked everything.
i hope that he reads it with an open mind. .. . . . right now he is thinking about having his manly man play and drinkfest with his friends the night prior to the wedding, and now he can read it in a book (instead of just me) of why that isn't a good idea. (wanna know what it says to do the night before? SLEEP.)
anyway, i think it will give perspective and let him think about a few things that otherwise could not be imagined. so many details and decisions!!!

My husband read this prior to our big ceremony, and believe me, he doesn't read many books so I was happy he got through this one. He told me that it was easy to read and that most of it made sense to him. He also told me that he hopes that I would not turn into a scary crazy bridezilla. So overall, this is easy to read, understand, and it applies to most grooms. Good stuff.

My fiance enjoyed skimming through this book. He didn't read the entire thing but the parts he read he really did like. The book is focused on the groom playing a large part in the planning of the wedding but is very comical as well. Cute gift for your soon-to-be husband!
