I got my Biggest Loser Cookbook a few weeks ago. I opened it up and flip thorugh the first few pages, flipped some more and more and more and more..... where's the recipes?!?!The first 70 pages are about countng calories, measuring food and exercising. That's great information, but the title of the book is "Quick and Easy COOKBOOK." I love the full page color pictures, but when the cook book starts on page 70 and every other page is a full color picture, there aren't many recipes in this cook book after all.

This book has a lot of recipes I have never tried which is GREAT! But unfortunately, I feel like a big loser that I can not afford 90% of the ingredients needed for these meals.
I mean who buys "Almond Cheese"...? I work two jobs and would have to stop paying my loans to stock up on things I've never heard of.
Maybe I'll use this when I get a raise.

Value - Decently priced, great deal for your money.
Performance - Product worked as it should. As for the content, great inspiration, easy to learn and use recipes. It's what you expect. And that is a welcoming feeling to purchase something and for it to fulfill those expectations.
Ease of Use - Simple to use, follow and adjust (don't add sodium or carbs, weirdo) recipes that promote healthy living. How can it get any easier? It can't.
Features - Eating plan, 20 minute work outs, breakfast, apps and snacks, soups and sandwiches, salads and sides, main courses and sweet bites. Just buy it already.
Criticism - I love the basics section that explains more about some necessities and the section on things to keep handy in your pantry. I think the book may be even more helpful if it had a notes section and maybe a tear out shopping list to help keep folks on track. Other than that, no gripes here.
Overall - A great addition to a home looking to make a change in their eating style without sacrificing your taste buds. Remember, if you are changing your lifestyle (like I recently did from unhealthy to healthy), it's important to look at food as fuel and not as a reward system. This book helps you do that without having to eat bland, gnarly meals. This book will help you make the changes necessary to your diet so that when paired with a regimen of exercise, you can start to shape yourself into the better-version-of-yourself!

I have long strived to find a healthy cookbook that also meets my needs. A single person, who wants to eat healthy, without a lot of time. I also don't have a huge kitchen as I live in a studio in the city. This cookbook was perfect. The meals are easy to make and a lot of the ingredients overlap so you aren't wasting tons of money buying a thousand products. The meals also aren't overly complicated so I can make them in my small kitchen and not be left with thousands of dishes. Best of all - the meals are designed to serve one or two people so I don't feel like I have to make a meal and then eat it for the next four days. I hate to be wasteful, but I can't eat the same thing for five days straight. I will end up tossing it and eating out, and thus the vicious cycle begins. Buy this cookbook, and you can escape the vicious cycle.

I thought this would be strictly a cookbook for the person struggling and needed healthy quick meals. This is more like healthy meals with stories in it but the meals are not really simple meals- they involve a lot of food I am not particularly fond of.

I didn't read this book yet, I just skimmed through it. Not what I really expected, but I'm keeping It because I can use it as a go to book.
Some of the recipes are wonderful, like the portobello mushroom pizzas, but most of the recipes have several ingredients, some hard to find, making many of the riches neither quick or easy. I wonder if the complexity and length of preparation for some of the recipes would discourage some dieters. If you have ample time to shop and cook, this book may be for you.
