I read the entire book. I liked the way they broke it down into Town/Country/Modern/Collectors' and Outside. I also liked the way the authors did not run the text to the next page with the descriptions on the previous page so you did not have to read on and then flip back to see what they were talking about. Instead, they included the descriptions on the same page as the text and also they did not print descriptions on top of photographs to make them nearly unreadable. Photographs were good and allowed you to see specific items both close up and in the context of the room. I love books that let me know I am not the only insane collector in the world!

Received book with slip cover damaged. Edges were bent, black scuff marks, and part of an orange price sticker was still stuck to it. Luckily the slip cover comes off and the hard cover beneath is the exact same book cover design so the slip isn't really necessary. But when you pay money for a product it should arrive in perfect condition right?

This book is full of great and economical ideas for how to decorate on a small budget. It had lots of creative ideas to incorporate found objects into a unique decorating esthetic.

The book is a wonderful collection of actual homes,beautifully illustrated with terrific photos and tips to freshen up your home using garage sale items or tag sale treasures. I would highly recommend the book as a good reference source or a neat item for your coffee table.
