Some 14 quilts for all quilting levels use the special ruler designed by the author to rotary cut squares, rectangles and triangles that measure evenly across the diagonal for on-point patchwork. The result is a fine pairing of innovative technique, full-page color photos, and step-by-step how-to directions for easy recreation of the patterns and quilts.
Setting Triangles for an On-Point Quilts . Setting triangles are the triangles used to fill in the spaces on the outside edges of a quilt that is set on point like "Lovely in Lavender" (shown below). While they might look the same, setting and corner triangles are very different. Finishing an on point setting requires four corner triangles and as many quarter square triangles as there are open spaces on the sides, top and bottom of your design.
