A great historical review of the history and people that have shaped Honduran society. A plus is that recent history of the country is well documented. This book was able to tie in different academic disciplines for a more complete story.

A minus is that the book is full of minor errors such as not capitalizing the first word in a sentence, or having run-on sentences, or not finishing a sentence properly. An editor should have been able to catch these things. I found this slight lack of revision in another of the Greenwood Histories.

But, I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.
