So far, very few academic studies have been conducted on internet banking adoption in Arab countries. Cross-sectional data were collected from 1286 respondents through a survey. Data were then analyzed by structural equation modeling.

In our case study, the organizational metrics when applied to data from Windows Vista were statistically significant predictors of failure-proneness. The precision and recall measures for identifying failure-prone binaries, using the organizational metrics, was significantly higher than using traditional metrics like churn, complexity, coverage, dependencies, and pre-release bug measures that have been used to date to predict failure-proneness. Our results provide empirical evidence that the organizational metrics are related to, and are effective predictors of failure-proneness.

eLearning with the Internet is a book for students learning how to conduct quantitative research who are also interested in learning styles and web-based learning. It presents a research study seeking to identify the relationship between the learning styles of e-learning website users and their preferences for features on those websites. Thus, the book serves two purposes: it contributes to the body of research on the rapidly developing field of web-based learning, and it presents an example of a systematic empirical study for advanced undergraduate and graduate research students in business, education, and other social science disciplines.

The book first discusses e-learning websites and their features, and then methods of identifying learning styles. Finally, a study is presented of a sample of employed adults who were also undergraduate or graduate students using e-learning websites; the finding of little to no correlation between their learning styles and their website feature preferences is then discussed in terms of its implications for e-learning website and online instruction designers.

A particular focus of the book is the choice of a quantitative research design, and the value of its emphasis on objective measurement and systematic testing of hypotheses. It provides a detailed description of the various elements of a research study, and includes an introduction to the research topics, questions, and justification, along with details about data collection, methodology, data analysis, results, and discussion.

For someone who is doing their own research this book can be a good tool. Think of the book as a roadmap to going from the beginning of the research process (coming up with a research study, a research model, general research questions) to analyzing the results and drawing conclusions.

It is like a instruction manual on conducting a research study with a real-life scenario.

Don't get lost in the words, keep an eye on the big picture and the structure the book develops.

Dr. Srivastava has created an outstanding guide for anyone involved in a graduate level research project. The book is organized in chapters that correspond to the headings of the research project. Every chapter starts with an explanation followed by specific examples. The examples are outstanding because they are derived from an actual research project concerning eLearning. I would absolutely recommend this book and I absolutely attribute my success to the quality of this book. This book earns all five stars.

Dr. Mukesh Srivastava taught my MIS Research class at UMW, in the Spring of 2012, when I was pursuing my Master's degree. I used this book along with another and found this book to be my saving grace. You will look at RESEARCH in a totally different, but exciting NEW way. This book is a great resource for anyone trying to make it through a research project for graduate school or even a PHD program. Dr. Srivastava gives not only a great example for you to follow to do your research paper, but you also learn a lot about eLearning along the way.

The book was an excellent example of an Empirical Study. It was very helpful in completing my MMIS class. I am a student in his MMIS 590 class, obtaining my masters. The book doesn't discuss how to do research, but rather, shows you step by step what was done. I would highly recommend this book to anyone doing a masters level research project, as it is an excellent guide. I would highly recommend any course instructed by Mukesh Srivastava; he is highly accomplished in both academia and the business world.

As a MIS graduate student, the book provided very useful information and detailed descriptions of the critical elements of empirical research studies. Although the book covers in great detail research on the subject area itself (e-Learning website feature preference based on learning styles), it provided wonderful insight into the mechanics and layout of a research study, such as research topics, research questions, statement of problem, justification, limitations, assumptions, research framework, research design, data collection, methodology, statistical analysis framework, data analysis, results, discussion of results in the context of results, findings and conclusions, and summary.

All in all, the book is very easy to read and understand, and it contains very useful reference material for eLearning web designers, education systems analysts, or project research students
