The book is formatted into several topics, each with a few stories about students or instructors that demonstrate each of the topics. One thing I disliked about the Aviation Instructor's Handbook is how little it discussed actual flight instruction (as opposed to instruction in general). I'm a professor and an aspiring CFI. I already know how to teach. I believe that all flight instructors (and aspiring ones as well) should read this book, reflect on their own experiences, and think about how they could improve their technique and teaching style.
