I wish I had discovered Mr. Parks work a long time ago. I'm sure I admired his photos in Life, as it was the photos in Life which opened the world of photography for me.

Parks is an outstanding poet as well as renowned photographer. I wanted to purchase his book entitled Eyes with Winged Thoughts. Whether my error or the seller's (Better World Books), the above titled book is what arrived. The appearance of the book seemed in good condition but the musty odor and degree of mildew made it unusable. I discovered when I tried to return it that so much is deducted from the cost plus my responsibility for mailing made it hardly worth while. I destroyed the book, which is what should have happened in the first place to any book retrieved from storage in a damp place.
