As an avid fan of Forgotten Realms and especially of Elminster and all his stories, I came into this book with great hopes. Overall, I wasn't disappointed, but some of the story was probably too much for the average, non-rabid reader of Realms books. I had read everything there was to read about my old friend Elminster before getting this book and even I was befuddled at times. Were there some issues?
