We read this story growing up and certain phrases entered our family vocabulary. Now that my boys are 4 and 6 they like to listen to it also. Homer has sisters who think he is a pest. He meets other animals who also call him a pest. But then he saves them all after they had fallen into a hole. There is a lot of grammar funniest similar to the "who's on first" story.
Funny duck
“Who’s a Pest?” Is a thoroughly fun read, especially when read aloud. (Watch out for those tongue twisters, though.) Lots of suspense, tons of laughs, and (don’t tell the kids and ruin the fun) a happy ending.
I had this book as a child and lost it in travels (we moved from one state in the deep freezing North to the deep SAUNA South) I decided opne day to just look in Amazon for the item and when I found it OMG! I HAD TO GET IT! <333 Much love,
My sister read Who's A Pest to her four boys when they were young. She gave the book to my grandson as her boys were grown up. The book ended up going through all of my grandkids and finally fell apart from loving use. This year my sister was blessed with her first grandchild. I was thrilled to find a copy of the book so our newest little one can laugh at Homer and his adventures.
This was my favorite book is a kid. And I can't wait to read it and with my children. It's hilarious. I would suggest it for everyone as a family read.
This book has always been a family favorite. A fun funny story while learning. I bought this book for my granddaughter and she loves it as well. Great to pass it to the next generation.
I have loved this story since my cousin gave his copy to me. Unfortunately, it seems to be hiding in a box around here... somewhere! Thanks to the internet, though, I managed to get another copy! I am so excited about being able to share this with my son (currently 8months!) when he is older. Such a delightful read. Funny, and a covert lesson in English.
We love this book at our house. Thank You!
