This book told pieces of the hell Mr. Eisner had to go through and how he managed to survive. I was told by my teacher (and several other students in my class) that this was a "hard read" and it would take a little while to finish. This unforgettable story gives a true tale of a young man during the Holocaust. It tells how he went from the Warsaw ghetto to a concentration camp and then to be liberated.

One of the best books about the holocaust I have ever read. I will put that info on the back an an 8 x 10 I framed in a shadow box with a piece of the wall enclosed and a picture of a street I could not indentify until I read the book. One person found this helpful.

Eisner, Jack; Mazal Holocaust Collection. This book is absolutely incredible. I recommend it to anybody who loves history because this is an incredible story of survival against all odds.
From the terror of the Warsaw ghetto to the brutality and horror of concentration and labor camps, this is Eisner's remarkable personal story.

In 1946, Judge Simon Rifkind, the Jewish adviser to the American Army in Europe, noted that survivors of the German concentration camps: expected the miracle of liberation to be followed by worldwide welcome extended by a repentant mankind which had permitted them to suffer such barbarism. There was no such welcome.
