1 John 4:16: And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love

There are times when only a carefully chosen piece of scripture will suffice, and now you don't have to peruse the Bible on your own to find the right words. 1 John 4:16: And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

Chiara Lubich was the beloved foundress of the Focolare movement Yes, love .

Chiara Lubich was the beloved foundress of the Focolare movement Yes, love makes us be. We exist because we love. If we don't love, and every time we don't love, we are not, we do not exist. Only one came back to give thanks.

Chiara Lubich (22 January 1920 – 14 March 2008) was an Italian Catholic activist and leader and founder of the Focolare Movement. Chiara Lubich was born as Silvia Lubich in Trent. Her father lost his job because of the socialist ideas that he held during Italy's period of Fascism. Consequently, the Lubichs lived for years in extreme poverty. To pay for her university studies in philosophy, Lubich tutored other students in Venice and during the 1940s began teaching at an elementary school in Trent.

With the knowledge of God's love for us, Lubich wrote, we can discern his loving . This thin little book by Chiara Lubich has appealed to many of my friends of many faiths. There are one-liners that would start a new civilization! If you are thirsty for love, try this book.

With the knowledge of God's love for us, Lubich wrote, we can discern his loving hand at work "beyond life's dark lines. Everything becomes more bearable, pervaded with joy, and filled with the possible. If we hope and ask with all our heart, our world can move toward unity among social classes, races, religions, and nations.

23. It Comes from Heaven. 24. The Demands of Genuine Love. An internationally known religious leader and writer, Italian-born Chiara Lubich (1920-2008) was described by the "New York Times" as one of the most influential women in the Catholic Church. She was president of the Focolare Movement, and her work has been recognized by universities, agencies, foundations, nations, states, and municipalities including 15 honorary doctorates, numerous civic awards, the Templeton Prize for Progress of Religion and the UNESCO Peace Prize.

Even though she never bore a child physically Gonxha Agnes Bojaxhiu deserves the name by which everyone knows her Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Her sayings reveal the qualities that we treasure in every mother playfulness compassion humility calmness evenhandedness the ability to reprove wrongdoing with firmness and love and the ability to maintain a sense of humor even in the most dire circumstances. In this collection Mother Teresa remains alive and through her Jesus whom she so loved and so wants us to love.
