That's a paraphrase of a statement in John Eldredge's book, Wild at Heart
Pastor Tavner Smith, thevenuechurch. That's a paraphrase of a statement in John Eldredge's book, Wild at Heart. God wants us to be filled with courage in every challenge we face, and this is written to help you find that confidence, and to awaken you to the many sources of courage God has already put in your life. A major character emerged for me during the writing.
Fear is a survival instinct that we develop to help us avoid danger. Someone you can trust and who can be able to see what you’re afraid of in a new light
Fear is a survival instinct that we develop to help us avoid danger. This kind of fear can be named more like caution, which is obviously necessary for a healthy dose. Irrational fears, on the other hand, are those fears that stop us from doing things that carry little to no actual risk. You have to learn to differentiate the two of them. Someone you can trust and who can be able to see what you’re afraid of in a new light. Someone who will be there to stand by you and encourage you as you face your fears. Finally, the last step is to actually face your fears.
Fear isn’t that bad. In fact fear is important. A person should feel the fear while trying to do something unethical. Never let the fear stop you to do something which you love and care and most important have the courage to follow your dream after all life is meant to be happy. If someone is brave then it doesn’t mean they can’t feel the fear. Courage is all about to know the limits and try to do something by pushing that limit. The best way to live a life is to live what you love. All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
It is very normal for all children to have specific fears at some point in their childhood. Even the bravest of hearts beat right up against their edges sometimes. When is fear or anxiety a problem? Fear is a very normal part of growing up. It is a sign that your child is starting to understand the world and the way it works, and that they are trying to make sense of what it means for them
