Andy Fish and Veronica Hebard. When I see the words "how to draw" in a book title, I assume that it's beginner friendly. Because you know, it's going to teach you how to draw something. This is not that book

Andy Fish and Veronica Hebard. This book wasn't what I wanted it to be. This is not that book. It's not very good for beginners; it assumes you already have preexisting artistic talent. Which I mean, I can draw more than stick figures, but I'm certainly no artist.

Items related to Tattoo Style. Andy Fish Tattoo Style. ISBN 13: 9781844488353. This book shows how to create those designs, and how to draw them. There are step by step instructions for several unusual designs such as a Jack O'lantern and a ghost cat. Some interesting background information is provided about the history of tattooing, and the different styles. A useful book for artists who want to try this very individualistic style of drawing, or need to incorporate it into their art work.

Veronica Hebard, now Veronica Fish, is a Massachusetts-based illustrator and comic artist. I think this is a great book for beginners to this art style. It has a lot of history and facts throughout the book that discusses different tattoo styles. I was happy with this added dimension in the book. Her clients include Seltzer Goods, Wired, The Girl Scouts of America, and Quarto Publishing of London. There are many photos, which is great for an art book, especially a how-to book. The tutorials which are clear and easy to understand. I wouldn't really recommend this for people who already know about this art style or who have experience.

Veronica Hebard writes about tattoos. Hervé Villechaize is Tattoo. Covers the styles that the industry was built on. But i must be honest, i was a bit confused initially. Somehow i confused author Veronica Hebard's name with that of actor Hervé Villechaize (Tattoo from Fantasy Island) who i thought was writing de book (de book!). Heres how it played out in my head: Herve would narrate the elements of each respective style. A different chapter for every discipline

Veronica Herbard, Andy Fish. Place of Publication. Although I wouldn’t have any of the designs in this book (they look a little too computer generated) it’s great to learn from scratch the basics around shapes and styles. It’s well presented and he foreword is great.

Tattoos have been in existence for as long as man has been drawing images. The desire to display permanent drawn markings on our bodies goes back to prehistoric times, and in modern times tattoo art is one of the fastest-growing and most popular forms of art. Designing tattoo art is a challenging discipline—the artist is working with a two-dimensional design which will be applied to a three-dimensional body.

A great tattoo starts with a great tattoo drawing, and How to Draw Tattoo-Style can help you perfect your artwork, and will inform you of the fascinating history of this style of artistic self-expression.

It's an okay book, it wasn't really what I was expecting, but still a member of my collection now.

Really provides some great distinctions between standard art forms and tattoo art methods. Highly recommend this read for people aspiring to be tattoo artists as well as tattoo enthusiasts

As another reviewer wrote, this book is chock full of bad drawings, and art that only the foolish would get tattooed on them. I was expecting a lot more when I ordered this book. To say the least, I am a little let down. I gave it a 2 because it does explain a few things about proportion and foreshortening. It also caused me to immediately log in and write this review. If you're looking for a book to help with drawing a tattoo or how to design one, keep looking.

This book is great if you want to try to draw your own tattoos but you have trouble drawing, i dont think it would be for professionals but i suggest buying it if your a beginner. definitley worth 9 bucks!
This book is pretty clear in step by step instruction on drawing like a tattoo artist. The artwork is bold and beautiful and the book gets right to the point.
