I could go on and on because Remington was such a vibrant personality and his career such a boisterous, vivid walk through Life. But these authors will give you Mr. Remington far better than I could hope to.
It's a great read !!

Great book, with gorgeous reproductions and almost all the images you could want. You'll get a great sense of Remington's compositions, colors, and achievement of depth. The essays are written with a straightforward academic style, not terribly fun to read, but very informative. You might supplement this book with the equally great "Remington: The Complete Prints" by Peggy & Harold Samuels.

A very nice book on the paintings of Remington who was a master of the horse in action in both paintings and sculpture. His loose brushwork added to the action in his paintings, and his color is always interesting.
Kieel
I like this book on Remington mostly because there are several prints of his night paintings that I wanted for reference. The price is right with large prints of his work. I'm happy with the purchase.
